YouthBuild – Information Session

Are you a Bridgeport youth between the ages of 18-24 and interested in learning, earning and serving your community by helping to build affordable housing? YouthBuild Bridgeport is for you.

YouthBuild, a program of the WorkPlace, is currently accepting 22 Bridgeport youth into the first training group starting March 13, 2017.

Once accepted youth will:

Work toward obtaining their High School Diploma or GED
Work toward gaining construction training, industry recognized credentials, and onsite work experience in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Park City Communities
Earn a stipend during the 6 months of training
An iPad fully loaded with program materials and tools upon completion
Transportation assistance to the program, if needed
Case Management & Graduate Services for 1 year after completion
