The clinics are open to any homeowner facing foreclosure. No pre-registration is required. There is no charge for the clinics.
The clinics will offer homeowners information about the judicial foreclosure and mediation process along with guidance on preparing for court from the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, and guidance on the resources for homeowners facing foreclosure from state agencies. Following presentations, homeowners may meet one-on-one with volunteer attorneys to discuss their situation.
A representative from the Mortgage Crisis Job Training Program will be presenting at the Fair Housing Center’s Foreclosure Prevention Clinic on December 21st in Bridgeport.
