Thursday, May 17th, Dress for Success of Mid-Fairfield County presents its annual benefit, Toast to Success!
The event will feature a La Moda Fashion Show, a fun raffle of items from throughout the region, and Teresa Younger, CEO and President of the Ms. Foundation for Women receiving the first Denise “Denny” Taft Davidoff Empowerment Award.
A noted speaker, advocate, and activist, Teresa has been on the frontlines of some of the most important battles for women’s health, safety and economic justice. She was honored by Planned Parenthood Federation of America as a Dream Keeper, given Liberty Bank’s Willard M. McRae Community Diversity Award, and named one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Philanthropy” by Inside Philanthropy.” Ms Younger was previously with Permanent Commission on the Status of Women CT, Board Chair of the Girl Scouts and Director of ACLU.
The Patterson Club is known for its understated elegance, attention to detail and exceptional food and service. As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a New England native, Executive Chef Kevin Cottle was exposed to cooking at a young age and brings his love for seafood and fresh produce into many of his signature dishes. Ticket sales go towards Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County programs, including Simply Suited and the Professional Woman’s Group.
