MCJTP 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

Please join The WorkPlace as we celebrate 10 years of the Mortgage Crisis Job Training Program! The program was created by the Connecticut General Assembly in 2008 to help borrowers keep their homes by increasing their job skills and becoming more financially stable. Participants receive customized employment services and job training scholarships to increase their earning potential. Since its inception, the program has helped over thousands of Connecticut residents remain in their homes.

For many borrowers, loss of work, insufficient income, overwhelming bills or other financial challenges can put them at risk of losing their home. The partnerships formed through the Mortgage Crisis Job Training Program created an answer for each individual’s personal mortgage crisis. The program is an opportunity of The WorkPlace in partnership with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Capital Workforce Partners and Connecticut’s workforce system.
